Activities

Hot Space株式会社は、研究・デザイン・制作を横断し、身体に根ざしたインタラクションの設計や企画、プロトタイピングを通じた新たな価値や体験の探索・創出を行っています。運動・認知・知覚を媒介に、人と人工物の関係をデザインします。

認知心理、聴覚・視覚・触覚などの多感覚インタラクション、計測技術などの学術的知見に基づいた体験設計を強みとし、コンセプト策定からアイデアの具体化、ハードウェア・ソフトウェア双方を含むプロトタイプ開発まで一貫した支援を提供しています。

主な事業実績には、商業施設・テーマパークにおけるショーウィンドウ可動機構の制御システム設計開発、研究用ロボットの開発、展示インスタレーションの機械設計および制御システム開発、新規事業企画・コンセプト検証（POC）のためのプロトタイプ開発、など。

また、クリエイティブスペースの運営も行っており、ギャラリー、アトリエ、イベントスペースとして、展示・試作・トークなどのプログラムを通じた創造活動を展開しています。

Hot Space Inc. engages in cross-disciplinary work spanning research, design, and production, focusing on the design and planning of embodied interaction, as well as the exploration and creation of new values and experiences through prototyping. We design the relationships between humans and artifacts through movement, cognition, and perception.

Our strength lies in evidence-based experience design grounded in cognitive psychology, haptic engineering, and measurement technologies. We provide end-to-end support from concept development and ideation through to prototype development encompassing both hardware and software.

Additionally, we operate a creative space that functions as a gallery, atelier, and event venue, developing creative activities through exhibitions, prototyping sessions, and talks.
